The Haller Foundation provides and promotes a sustainable and environmentally sound model for economic development in Kenya. The Haller model prioritises the need for water security before providing needs-based education and training for sustainable income generation with the ultimate aim of creating economically independent communities. The Fore funded the design and development of the Haller App which looks to increase the number who can benefit from Haller expertise by providing rural farmers with training manuals, timely seasonal information, tips and anecdotal stories. Within the first few months of launching, the app was downloaded more than 3,000 times in over 45 different countries.
