Element Creative Projects CIO Request

Organisation Description

Element is a London-based youth arts charity that runs projects with young people leaving the care system, seeking asylum or with refugee status, and vulnerable students. We are a small, dynamic team with a big mission: to create inclusive spaces where young people learn and take the lead, recognising themselves as creatives in their own right and with their own ambitions. Founded in 2016, we have worked across 14 London boroughs and supported 222 care-experienced young people and 145 school students.

Element projects are commissioned and part-funded by local authorities, schools and other third sector clients. Our income is generated through our commissioned projects and fundraising. We are currently supported by national grant-giving charities including the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation, the Young Londoner’s Fund, London Community Foundation and Garfield Weston Foundation.
