Highgate Newtown Community Partners Request
Highgate Newtown Community Partners provides community services in Camden through its community centre and network of community partners. We are a growing organisation that is engaging more partners and supporting more people with access to vital services in these particularly challenging times.
For example, we provide high quality and affordable services to disadvantaged members of our community including daily lunch clubs (providing affordable and heatlhy food) and social interaction for older people, those facing isolation, and those on low incomes. For individuals and families living in unsecure housing/in receipt of state benefits, we support them with completing forms and accessing additional food or clothing. We hold daily play activities for children under 5 years old to help them socialise and develop, whilst parents/carers access essential support, advice and connections.
What are they looking for?
We are looking for a volunteer that can provide support at a senior level to our CEO, particularly during partnership negotiations and meetings with stakeholders across the local authority, philanthropic and corporate sectors. We would appreciate a volunteer who understands the challenges our community faces and who can help us articulate our work effectively. Our organisation is growing rapidly and we are responding to an even greater need. Your expertise will help drive change locally and encourage a range of partners and stakeholders to support us both practically and financially.
